Fiona’s is situated in an 18th century listed property in the centre of Churchtown. Originally one of a row of cottages it was converted to a shop early in the 20th century. The teashop still retains the original cast iron inglenook fireplace which adds to its charm.

Churchtown, with its origin is in the Domesday Book, is a beautiful village with many thatched cottages and has grown up around the church of St. Cuthbert. Churchtown was a thriving community long before Southport existed. Just to walk the main village street is to miss much of Churchtown with its many little alleyways leading to yet more cottages. The character of some of these seems to have been enhanced by centuries of adding, extending and renovations.

Within a short walk of Fiona’s, you can find the Botanic Gardens and museum, Meols Hall (open summer), and St. Cuthbert’s Church. Churchtown is easily reached from Southport town centre either by car or regular public transport.

Fiona’s is open for breakfast teas, through lunch to afternoon teas. In addition to Fiona’s real home baking the emphasis is on fresh produce (mainly local) and a wide selection of fine teas and infusions. Names such as ‘Russian Caravan’, ‘Red Bush Fire’ and ‘Tranquillity’ invoke thoughts of faraway places.

All teas and infusions along with a range of handmade preserves and other items are available to purchase. A selected range of gifts and greeting cards are also available.

Fiona’s is open daily (except Mon/Tues) from 10.15a.m to 5.15p.m
(Sundays 11.30a.m to 5.00p.m). Also open Bank Holidays.
